Equally are our personal schedules and health goals, play a big role in how we plan and organize our meals for the week.

Below are categories and questions to consider as you think about your meals and the grocery list you’re building. I’ve also included a free download for you to print and use for meal planning.

Questions to ask yourself:

  1. What’s on sale this week?
  2. Do I need snacks?
  3. Do I prefer fresh, frozen or canned items?
  4. Are there textures or tastes I prefer?
  5. How many days or meals am I planning for?
  6. Do I need to eat out of the house this week?
  7. What’s my budget this week/month for food?
  8. Do I need to follow a recipe?
